Ireland is a land where histories are buried within histories. In the time since – through famines and feasts, oppressors and allies, centuries of colonial rule and the eventual triumph of independence – Ireland’s history has been enriched by its essential and unique connection to its past.

Much like the country itself, it’s this reverence for history that sets Doonbeg apart. The Doonbeg golf course – traditional Irish in design – is built around stunning dunes that have remained untouched for centuries. Native flora and fauna have been preserved throughout the property, and the nearby historical landmarks and structures are essential to the Doonbeg community. We know that their history is our history, and we will always appreciate it.
