The Town of Doonbeg - Spend an afternoon exploring Ireland's “Long Village,” Doonbeg. History abounds in the quaint village featuring churches, the Doonbeg Castle and a historic stone bridge that crosses the Doonbeg River marking the center of town. Whether you want to experience the local culture by tasting traditional Irish fare at one of Doonbeg's pubs or you prefer to tour an old church, Doonbeg is sure to charm you.

The Cliffs Of Moher – For one of the most spectacular sights in all of Ireland, visit the Cliffs of Moher. Plummetting 214 meters into the Atlantic Ocean and stretching eight kilometers, the Cliffs are truly a natural wonder. Hiking along the Cliffs offers breath taking views of the Aran Islands located in Galway Bay. Or if you prefer a sailing adventure, take a cruise along the base of the Cliffs to appreciate their sheer scale and beauty.

Aran Islands – Just a short, beautiful ferry ride away are three small isles, Inisheer, Inishmaan and Inishmore, collectively called the Aran Islands. These islands are known for their abundant wildlife and flowering plants.

The Burren – Over 100 square miles, the Burren is a limestone plateau home to many plants, animals and birds. In addition, this unique area offers the Burren Smokehouse, Perfumery and Floral Center and Aillwee Cave for exploration.

Doolin Cave – Make sure to visit the longest stalactite in the Northern Hemisphere, the Great Stalactite of Doolin Cave. After you explore the cave and stalactite, stop by Doolin Crafts Gallery to shop and enjoy a traditional home cooked Irish meal.

Castles, Cathedrals & Gardens – Western Ireland boasts thousands of historical sites that warrant exploration. The landscape includes forts, tombs, monasteries, dolmens, castles, cathedrals and gardens which exhibit Ireland's ancient heritage. A handful of these ancient monuments are within close proximity to Doonbeg making them an easy adventure.

Scenic Drives – A drive around the Irish countryside of Doonbeg is a great way to sight-see. The coastal views and lush landscape are amazing and the winding road will ensure you're entertained. Recommended scenic drives are: Loophead Penisula, Burren Drive and a drive around the Wondrous Burren.
