Gaelic Football

Michael Gaelic football, not to be confused with rugby, dates back to the year 1537 with the modern version being in play since 1887. Inter-county matches are generally played throughout the spring and summer months, culminating in the All Ireland Final, which is held on the third or fourth Sunday of September each year.
